Portfolio
Proof, not promises.
Two decades of customs and global-trade work, in the field — for manufacturers and traders, national administrations and EU institutions. A selection of the engagements we're able to talk about.
Inward Processing Relief
Vivansa integrated a ViCS Goods Accounting module into Lear Corporation UK's Control Tower — the platform now commercialised as Viictor — eliminating customs duty and VAT on goods processed for re-export or customer transfer, with full compliance.
A smart Control Tower for Brexit
When Brexit reshaped UK customs, Lear Corporation UK partnered with Vivansa to build a smart Control Tower — the middleware that bridges their enterprise systems to customs filing, and the foundation Viictor is built on.
lxr.CCN Gateway implementation for HMRC
Strategic connectivity solution simplifies cross-border customs data exchange for the UK's leading revenue authority. Our lxr.CCN connector enabled HMRC to establish a standardised, fault-tolerant hub for applications requiring CCN access — processing hundreds of millions of messages annually while ensuring compliance with evolving EU regulations, including complex Brexit transitions.
SOFT-DEV — supporting DG TAXUD's vision for modernised EU customs
Vivansa's expertise supports DG TAXUD's customs innovation through the SOFT-DEV project — streamlining processes like Certificate Exchange (CERTEX), Data Integration and Harmonisation (DIH), and the electronic Proof of Origin Certificate (ePOC) to shape the future of EU trade and compliance.
CUST-DEV3 — modelling and design of EU customs systems at DG TAXUD
Vivansa's expertise supported DG TAXUD's customs innovation under the CUST-DEV3 contract — driving business analysis, modelling, and design of EU customs systems to align seamlessly with Union Customs Code (UCC) requirements.
Preliminary Analysis
Before the build, Vivansa ran the year-long analysis that turned Lear Corporation UK's customs compliance into a strategy — the gap analysis, business case, and architecture that framed the Control Tower.
AB InBev — EMCS Austria implementation
Vivansa implemented an end-to-end automated Excise Movement Control System (EMCS) solution for AB InBev's Austrian operations. Building on our earlier implementation at their Luxembourg brewery, the cloud-based eOUI platform delivered a comprehensive set of customs-compliance services while integrating with existing systems — with significant efficiency improvements and excellent reliability.
Automated excise declaration management at Landewyck Tobacco
When Luxembourg-based Landewyck Tobacco faced time-consuming manual excise operations, Vivansa's cloud-based eOUI solution transformed their excise declaration processes into a fully automated, SAP-integrated system — delivering measurable efficiencies and significant cost savings while ensuring 99.95% availability.
Digitalising excise declaration management at the Diekirch brewery
When AB InBev's Diekirch facility hit an operational bottleneck after Luxembourg's customs portal upgrade, Vivansa implemented an intelligent cloud-based filing solution (eOUI) — achieving remarkable improvements in excise declaration efficiency while maintaining rigorous compliance standards.
SPEED2 — secure data exchange platform for European customs
Vivansa delivered a critical component for the SPEED2 platform, enabling efficient and secure message exchange between EU and non-EU customs authorities. Our lxr.CCN connector provided seamless integration between Oracle Service Bus and the Common Communication Network (CCN), enhancing the EU's customs data-exchange capabilities while maintaining strict security standards.
