Vivansa invests in AI to augment our Customer’s Trade Compliance workforces

BRUSSELS; April 5, 2022 — Vivansa decides major investments in artificial intelligence (AI) research and development. The company aims to harness the power of generative AI and AI workforce augmentation to deliver cutting-edge solutions that empower the trade compliance practitioners at its customer organisations.
Our customers rely on highly skilled trade compliance teams to navigate the immense complexities of customs regulations and cross-border operations,” said Vivien Monti, CEO of Vivansa. “We see tremendous potential for AI to augment and supercharge these vital workforces through automated assistance, rapid data analysis, and intelligent recommendations.
A key focus area is generative AI, which can create new content like text, images, and code from scratch. Vivansa envisions generative models that can auto-generate compliance documents, summarise critical trade data insights, suggest optimised logistics routes, and more – drastically boosting the productivity of customer compliance teams.
In parallel, the company is researching AI workforce augmentation, where AI assistants collaborate with and enhance the capabilities of human professionals. The goal is to provide customer teams with AI co-pilots that can rapidly ingest large datasets, answer queries, provide expert guidance, and handle routine tasks.
Instead of replacing humans, our vision is for AI to be a force multiplier that allows the skilled trade professionals at our customer organizations to focus on higher-level strategic work and decision making,” Vivien Monti added. “Combined with our people’s deep domain expertise, we believe this human-AI collaboration will unlock new levels of customs and trade compliance excellence.
Vivansa plans to roll out its first generative AI and AI workforce augmentation offerings aimed at customer trade teams by the end of 2023, following ongoing R&D and pilot programs.
