Seamless Ecosystem-based Integration for Customs & Global Trade Compliance Excellence

Chief Technology Officer
Viictor’s approach is fundamentally collaborative and integrative. The integration capabilities offered by Viictor are the outcome of years of R&D in the field of Service Oriented Architecture, Semantic Web Technologies, and Robotics Process Automation.
Ecosystem-based, open integration architecture
Viictor runs on a powerful enterprise integration platform, featuring Vivansa’s built-in Froggg’s middleware by default, which transcends traditional system integration by creating a comprehensive ecosystem connection that bridges organisational boundaries. Unlike conventional integration approaches mainly focused on linking internal systems, Viictor builds a holistic network encompassing all participants in your global trade ecosystem – from your enterprise systems (the “Focal Organisation” to which Viictor’s controls apply) to the full spectrum of external stakeholders throughout your supply chain.
Importantly, Viictor is designed as a complementary solution that enhances – rather than replaces – existing systems in the Customs and Global Trade Management landscape. Viictor does not compete with current GTMS vendors, ERPs, or transportation management systems. Instead, it serves as an AI-powered business orchestration layer that allows these specialised systems to deliver their core strengths more effectively within a connected business ecosystem.
Two-way Integration: Consume and Expose
This ecosystem-based approach recognises that global trade compliance doesn’t exist in isolation within your organisation, but rather emerges from the complex interplay between multiple parties across international borders. Viictor creates secure, intelligent data pipelines that connect not only your internal systems (e.g. SAP GTS, QAD, Blue Yonder, E2open, Infor Nexus, or transport management systems) but extends outward to incorporate:
- Suppliers who provide crucial origin data and product specifications
- Freight forwarders managing the physical movement of goods
- Customs brokers handling declaration filings
- Transportation providers across all modes of transport
- Regulatory authorities in various jurisdictions
- Customers who provide service orders and essential destination information
- Service providers offering specialised compliance services (e.g. origin calculation)
ViictorAPI: Extending Compliance Intelligence
Additionally, Viictor exposes its own comprehensive API, ViictorAPI, following the OpenAPI specification. This standardised interface enables third-party solutions to leverage Viictor’s powerful compliance intelligence services, allowing your existing applications and systems to:
- Access real-time compliance risk assessments
- Retrieve regulatory requirements for specific trade lanes
- Validate customs classifications and valuations
- Query documentation requirements for specific shipments
- Tap into Viictor’s AI-driven trade compliance intelligence
By offering this bidirectional integration approach, Viictor not only consumes data from your ecosystem but also serves as a compliance intelligence provider for your broader technology landscape.
Transforming Fragmented Data into Unified Intelligence
This federated approach transforms fragmented information across the entire trade ecosystem into actionable trade compliance intelligence, allowing Trade Departments to maintain visibility and control even when operations extend beyond the enterprise’s immediate systems. The smart master data management layer eliminates data silos both within and beyond your organisation, creating a unified view of your global trade operations.
For organisations leveraging enterprise data platforms such as Palantir Foundry, Databricks Lakehouse, or Informatica IDMC, Viictor also has the potential to be deployed directly within these environments (e.g. through their respective marketplaces), extending your existing data infrastructure with specialised customs and global trade compliance capabilities that incorporate the broader ecosystem view.
By implementing this ecosystem-based integration approach, Viictor doesn’t just enhance your internal systems – it creates a collaborative compliance environment that includes all relevant parties in your global trade network, ensuring seamless information flow and coordinated compliance operations across organisational boundaries. This flexible, inclusive deployment approach ensures Viictor enhances your current technology investments while providing the advanced AI-driven Customs & Global Trade Compliance capabilities your global operations require.

Froggg’s (short for Federating Relationships On the Giant Global Graph) is Vivansa’s enterprise data platform, which enables people, organisations, and their digital environments to federate their business values to build and maintain better collaborations and increased interoperability. Froggg’s achieves this objective by: Connecting People through the Froggg’s Social Enabler; Linking Data through the Froggg’s Semantic Enabler; and Composing Services through the Froggg’s Service Enabler. Data is at the heart of Froggg’s, maintained in RDF Graph Stores through the definition of Datasets governed by Repositories. Other sources of data can also be federated through SPARQL Endpoints as well as using the offered EDI Service when data is available through other formats or channels. In Froggg’s, as a Semantic Enabler, data should always refer to Taxonomies and Ontologies — its classification, meaning, models, rules, and constraints. As a Social Enabler, taxonomies and ontologies enable people to agree on how to federate data before machines can exchange it and reason on it, for example through web services and rules engines. Fundamentally, Froggg’s defines a set of foundational and reference taxonomies and ontologies to offer a baseline for federation.
Viictor’s integration with Froggg’s leverages the middleware’s powerful federation capabilities to create a seamless ecosystem for global trade compliance management. This integration allows Viictor to connect disparate systems, both within and outside an organisation, through Froggg’s three core enablers. The Social Enabler facilitates collaboration between all stakeholders in the global trade process, from internal teams to external partners like customs brokers and freight forwarders. The Semantic Enabler ensures data consistency across different systems by maintaining standardized taxonomies and ontologies specific to trade compliance, enabling meaningful interpretation of information regardless of its source. Meanwhile, the Service Enabler allows Viictor to compose and orchestrate various services (both internal and external) needed for comprehensive compliance management. By utilising Froggg’s RDF Graph Store architecture, Viictor can maintain rich, interconnected datasets that represent the complex relationships in global trade operations. This enables sophisticated compliance control points to be established and monitored in real-time. Furthermore, Froggg’s ability to federate external data sources through SPARQL endpoints and EDI services means Viictor can incorporate information from legacy systems and third-party providers without requiring extensive system overhauls. This foundational integration empowers Viictor to function as an intelligent control tower that orchestrates compliance activities across organizations’ entire trade ecosystem while maintaining data sovereignty and security.

Palantir Foundry is an enterprise data platform that integrates, manages, and secures data while enabling advanced analytics and operational applications.
