BRUSSELS; September 10, 2019 — Vivansa announces the fork of its OpenV* project (R&D initiative built upon the ITMON solution recently acquired by Vivansa) in a separate branch allowing the Taxation and Customs Union Directorate (DG TAXUD) of the European Commission to develop its own monitoring system**.
“It is a great honour for Vivansa that a reference institution such as DG TAXUD makes the decision to take advantage of the OpenV initiative to build its own monitoring system. This really corresponds to the values of sharing that we defend and at the same time this is a great incentive to develop the OpenV initiative even further and come with new features to the benefit of the Customs community.” Vivien Monti, CEO of Vivansa says.
