The European Commission – DG TAXUD has made the decision to use lxr.CCN Advanced, Enterprise Edition v2 as part of its SPEED2 platform implementation so as to offer reliable EU Gateway services to authorised Third Countries (e.g. Russia).
lxr.CCN shields the technical complexity of the CSI API from calling applications through the use of a standard Web Service interface and increases the overall resilience of the architecture by implementing clustering and fail-over mechanisms as part of a wider Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
