BRUSSELS; March 31st, 2022 — After 14 months of intensive implementation work, Vivansa is proud to announce that a new Customs compliance system has been successfully rolled out into production at LEAR Corporation UK, the leading Tier-1 manufacturer in the automotive sector (car seats and electric engineering).
This project (whose codename is ‘Qomply’) implements the recommendations formulated by Vivansa’s experts further to the analysis which was conducted at LEAR Corporation UK during the April 19 – June 20 period. Through this implementation, the Trade Department of LEAR UK has been able to recover full visibility and control over its Customs compliance operations in line with the new legal obligations caused by Brexit.
The solution developed by Vivansa is essentially meant as a cloud-based integration platform that implements the Trade Compliance Control Tower (TCCT) design pattern (which is the outcome of R&D activities conducted by Vivansa over the 2017 – 2020 period).
The solution will now evolve to expand to the whole LEAR UK ecosystem gradually and to cover additional requirements in relation to inward processing and preferential origin of goods. It will also further enhance its AI which currently incorporates Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Complex Event Processing (CEP), and Semantic Web and Reasoning.
